AUDITING OF EXISTING WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES IN THE STATE BY BHOOMITHRASENA CLUBS: PARTICIPATION INVITATION

Directorate of Environment and Climate Change (DoECC) and Malinya Muktham Navakeralam Campaign Secretariat, Local Self Government Department, Government of Kerala have decided to collaborate in launching a State-level auditing of existing waste management facilities such as Material Collection Facilities (MCFs) and Resource Recovery Facilities (RRFs) with the active participation of Bhoomithrasena Clubs. The auditing will mainly involve the completion of two survey questionnaires on ‘Community Biodegradable Waste Management System’ and ‘Community Non-biodegradable Waste Management System’ to evaluate the effectiveness and identify the key gaps in the functioning of the existing system at the Local Self Government (LSG) level. The necessary guidance and documents required to conduct the auditing will be shared. Bhoomithrasena Clubs may select one or multiple LSGs near your institution for the auditing.

Please go through documents and the interested Bhoomithrasena Clubs may mark their participation in the given google form link before July 31, 2024 (Wednesday).
