REGISTER & CONTRIBUTE IN 'EK PED MAA KE NAAM' CAMPAIGN

Madam/Sir,

As part of the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on the occasion of World Environment Day, efforts are being made to ensure 80 crore plantations by September 2024 and 140 crore by March 2025, following the 'Whole of the Government' and 'Whole of the Society Approach.’ The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has urged to mobilize the officials of the State Government, individuals from civil society, Non-Government Organizations, and other relevant stake holders to upload the details of plantation activities undertaken on the Merilife portal (https://merilife.nic.in).

As part of the initiative, all the Bhoomithrasena Clubs are directed to upload the details of plantation activities that are undertaken by you since June 5, 2024 on the Merilife portal. Please follow the steps below to report your tree plantation activities in the Merilife portal.

  1. First enter https://merilife.nic.in on your browser.
  2. Click on the “LOGIN” button on the top right corner.
  3. Please log in under the ‘FIELD OFFICES’ section and click on ‘Don’t have an account? ‘SIGN UP’ to proceed further.
  4. In the SIGN-UP Page, provide the details as given below.
  • Type of Field Offices: Choose ‘State Government Affiliated’
  • State: Choose ‘Kerala’
  • Select Department: Choose ‘Environment & Climate Change’
  • Select Institutions: Choose ‘Directorate of Environment and Climate Change’
  • Name of Field Office: Give ‘Your Institution Name’
  • Name: Give Faculty-in-Charge’s Name
  • Designation: Bhoomithrasena Club Faculty-in-Charge
  • Email: Your preferred email ID
  • Mobile No: Faculty-in-Charge’s Mobile Number
  1. Once you finish entering your details, click ‘Sign Up’
  2. Then, enter the OTP received in your mobile number on the OTP Verification page that appears and Click ‘PROCEED.’ Your registration is now completed.
  3. Then, from the Login button, under ‘FIELD OFFICES’, you can login using the registered mobile number and the OTP received.
  4. In order to fill the ‘Tree Plantation Report,’ please see the SOP attached in the email. Check the Section on ‘How to fill the Tree Plantation Form’ on Page No. 2.
