  • 1. Raise Awareness: The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among participants, particularly students from the Department of Environmental Sciences, about the significance of soil and water resources for life. By featuring discussions on topics such as soil fertility, water conservation, and ecosystem health, the objective was to underscore the interconnectedness between soil, water, and life, and the need for their sustainable management. 4. Engage Students in Environmental Issues: Through the participation of 45 students from the department, the program sought to engage the next generation of environmental scientists and professionals in discussions about pressing environmental issues. By focusing on soil and water resources, the program aimed to inspire students to become advocates for sustainable land and water management practices.
  • 1. Preservation of Indigenous Medicinal Plants: The primary objective of this program is to preserve indigenous medicinal plants known for their therapeutic properties. By cultivating these plants in a dedicated garden, the Bhoomithrasena members aim to conserve and protect traditional knowledge about the uses and benefits of these plants for medicinal purposes. 2. Education and Awareness: Another objective is to educate and raise awareness among club members and the broader community about the importance of indigenous medicinal plants. By carefully selecting and cultivating various medicinal plants, the program seeks to highlight their therapeutic properties and promote their use in healthcare and wellness practices. 3. Sustainable Gardening Practices: The program aims to promote sustainable gardening practices by involving Bhoomithrasena club members in activities such as watering, weeding, and caring for medicinal plants. By actively participating in these activities, members learn about sustainable gardening techniques and contribute to the maintenance and growth of the medicinal garden. 4. Community Engagement: The cultivation of an indigenous medicinal garden provides an opportunity for community engagement and involvement.
