Institution founded in 1954 by Swami Agamananda, social reformer and a forsighted Scholar of Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashram. The institution was established with the view to perpetuate the doctrines of the great Saint & Philosopher, Adi Sankarachrya and to nurture his birth place as a cultural citadel. Bhoomitra sena club of Sree Sankara College registered under DoECC on 2014 with reg. No. BMC-248/EKM/21/13.
