Wetland Mitra Pledge at Sree Narayana College, Chengannur
The Wetland Mitra Pledge was conducted on February 4, 2025, as part of the Save Wetlands Campaign 2025, initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Government of India. The programme was organized by the Bhoomithrasena Club of the college, coordinated by Dr. Venu. S, and presided over by the Principal, Dr. Sindhu Pratap.
The event aimed to raise awareness about wetland conservation and management among students and faculty. As per the directive from the Higher Education (K) Department, the pledge was taken in a large gathering, and a report with photographs and a two-minute video was prepared for submission.
