Aluva Manappuram Cleaning Drive at St.Xavier's College for Women Aluva
On September 24, 2024, the Bhoomithrasena Club, in collaboration with the NSS and the Kerala Forest Department, organized a cleaning drive at Manappuram to commemorate World Cleanup Day. The event began at 9 am, with students gathering at Aluva Manappuram, eager to contribute to the initiative. With great enthusiasm, the students embarked on a thorough cleaning of the area, meticulously collecting plastic waste and disposing of it in sacks. As the program drew to a close, the students took a pledge, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment, as part of the global World Cleanup Day initiative.
