Nature camp at GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KODENCHERY
Bhoomitrasena Nature Club members participated in Nature camp organized by Forest department to our students on 04-10-2023. The one day camp was attended by 37 students and 2 faculties participated. The camp was inaugurated on 04-10-2023 by Suresh T, Section Forest Officer. Technical Session began with a presentation by Mr. Suresh .T on “Biodiversity and Conservation”. Technical session two began with trekking to Vanaparvam water falls. This is a habitat for a wide variety of flora and fauna. Many birds, butterflies, spiders, dragon flies were observed and were explained to the participants. Trekking was followed by the technical session three with the presentation of Mr. Abdul Riyas on Odonates of Kerala. It was followed valedictory function were sharing of experience by the participants were organized.
