Selfie with Sapling Contest at Sree Narayana College, Chengannur
As a part of the ‘World Environment Day’ (June 5) the Bhoomithrasena Club of Sree Narayana College, Chengannur celebrated World Environment Day 2024 by organizing an innovative and engaging event titled “Selfie with Sapling Contest”. The primary objective of this contest was to promote environmental awareness and encourage active participation in afforestation efforts. The students actively participated in the contest with great enthusiasm and observed the day by planting saplings at places they cherish so that participants were more likely to take care and monitor their growth. The participants submitted their entries to the Bhoomithrasena Club’s official email.
The winners of “Selfie with Sapling Contest” Megha Murali, of I B. Com (2023 Admission), Karthik Shylajan, of I B. Com (2023 admission) and Asha V, of II B.A Economics (2022 admission) bagged the first, second and third prize respectively.
