Purchase of glass and steel tumblers to reduce usage of paper cups(19/01/2025) at CHMKM Govt.Arts & Science College Tanur
30 glass and 30 steel tumblers were purchase to ensure the implementation of green protocol in the campus. Every department now uses these tumblers for the programs they host. The reason for adopting steel and glass tumblers are they are eco-friendly and use of such tumblers can save the world from pollution. Most single-use cups, including paper cups, are not recyclable. That’s because many have a plastic lining which makes them waterproof but non-biodegradable.
