Participation in Training Programme for Bhoomithrasena Club Faculty-in-Charges in South Zone at Sahodaran Ayyappan Smaraka SNDP Yogam College
On January 17, 2024, the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Kerala organized a one-day training program for Bhoomithrasena Club faculty-in-charges from the South Zone. The event took place at the Government Guest House in Thiruvananthapuram, aiming to bolster the competencies of faculty members in leading and supporting club activities effectively.
The program commenced with informative sessions on the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Kerala, and the objectives of Bhoomithrasena Club. Participants were acquainted with the new web portal of Bhoomithrasena, enabling them to navigate and utilize its features efficiently. Emphasis was placed on clarifying the roles and responsibilities of faculty-in-charges within the club framework.
A significant portion of the training revolved around waste management strategies, reflecting the pressing environmental concerns of the region. Practical insights and tools were shared to equip faculty members with the necessary knowledge and skills to address these challenges effectively.
