Field visit to Ayiramthengu Mangroove Forest for its ecological study at M.S.M College, Kayamkulam
A field visit to Aiyramthengu mangrove was conducted on 22nd December 2023. It really refreshing to students. They came to know about the precious ecosystem, it's biodiversity and its role in protecting coastal ecosystem. Twenty four students participated in the field visit. They got awareness about the need to conserve this rare mangrove forest. They also had a converastion with the local people- fisherman depending on this mangroove for their livilihood
