One day camp at Mangrove conservation site - Kunchimangalam at Sir Syed College, Taliparamba
One day field trip conducted at Mangrove site of Kunchimangalam , Payyannur. The site we visted was under Kannur Kandal project ,supported by WTI. The site is a conservation area supporting most of all species of mangroves. A one hour introductory class were given first by Mr.Vimal, Cordinator of Kandal project and thereafter visited the field. Students experienced the feeling of mangrove ecosystem. They were also taken to forest occur as a separate patches by boat. The camp was led by Dr.Sreeja. P. Students also interacted with the research scholars doing P.h.D in the mangrove ecosystem.
