Nature camp @ Parambikkulam at St. Thomas College, Thrissur


Bhoomithrasena Club members of St. Thomas College *Autonomous), Thrissur condiucetd a Nature camp at Prambikulam Tiger Reserve and Wildlife sanctuary on 15.12.2022 to 17.12.2022 in association with the Department of Forests, Government of Kerala. The Camp was stated with the visit of Interpretation center, and filed wvist and Kanimara Teak, the largest living teak with a girth of 6.57 m and a height of 48.5 m in the sanctuary. The particinpants had an early morning bird watching on 16.12.2023 and trek to the Kariyan shola of the forest. In the eveing there was talk on Wildlife biology by Mr. Murigan and a documentary obn the Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary. On 17,12,2022, moning, the participants had a nature walk, biodiversity survey and medicinal garden visit. The nature camp was really informative and the participants experienced and able to sight wild animals and forest vegetation.
