Campus bird count at PSMO College at PSMO College, Tirurangadi
In connection with the Great Backyard Bird Count, conducted all over India under the aegis of Bird Count, India, e-Bird and Bird Atlas, a Campus Bird Count Programme was organized at PSMO College on 18-02-2022.
This is the third year in a row that BMC PSMO College is conducting Campus Bird Count Programme at the college. Eminent birders like Mr. Vijesh Vallikkunnu, Ms. Kanchana Anil, Mr. Najeeb Pulikkal, Mr. Nabeel Parappanangadi, and Mr. Kabeerali P lead the survey and 22 student volunteers of BMC, PSMO College participated in the survey. 46 species of birds were identified in the survey including the migratory birds like Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Woolly Necked Stork, etc.
