Forest Fire and Rescue Session organized by the Kerala Fire and Rescue Service under the Societal Forestry Division at NSS College of Engineering

FOREST FIRE AND RESCUE SESSION
Bhoomitrasena Club volunteers of NSSCE took part in a forest demonstration and project session along with fire and safety training conducted by Kerala Fire and Rescue Service under the Societal Forestry Division on 18/01/2025
The session equipped the volunteers with practical knowledge on safety precautions during fire rescue operations. It began with Mr. Bharathan, a forest enthusiast, sharing insights on forest classification, forest fire causes, and more. Volunteers also received training in basic first aid and CPR. Mr. Santhosh R, Fire and Safety Officer, led an engaging session on techniques to safely assist injured individuals during forest fires. The session concluded with trekking through the Dhoni forest.
