World Soil Day celebration at Maharaja's College
An exhibition in connection with World Soil Day was organized on 7th December 2023 in Maharaja’s College. Dr. Joy VS, Principal, Maharaja’s College inaugurated the event at 10.30 am. The detailed schedule of the programme conducted was as follows:

EXHIBITION OPENED FOR DISPLAY: 11.30 AM – 3 PM
The exhibition was kept open for display till 3pm. The event was organized by Bhomithrasena in association with the Dept. of Geology. The exhibits included different types of soils from different parts of Kerala (25 types). Bhoomithrasena members from the Dept. of Chemistry exhibited demonstration on soil tests while members from Dept. of Botany exhibited compost making and other natural methods to improve soil fertility.
