Eco-Friendly Heritage Tourism & Heritage Conservation Awareness at College of Applied Science Kaduthuruthy
As part of an educational initiative, students visited heritage sites in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry to understand the impact of pollution and climate change on historical monuments. The program promoted responsible tourism by encouraging sustainable travel practices like avoiding plastic waste, carrying reusable bottles, and proper waste disposal. Students were also made aware of the importance of protecting cultural heritage by discouraging littering, vandalism, and defacement of monuments.
