Certificate Course on " Empower tech: Essential Electric and Electronic Skills for Everyday life" at St Berchmans College (Autonomous) Changanacherry
We aim to reduce the generation of electronic waste through proper maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment. Our objective is to equip participants with practical skills for handling and repairing these devices. We seek to empower students, women, and the general public to become self-reliant in managing their electronic equipment.
The target group includes both men and women, as well as students. Currently, there are 18 participants, including 1 woman. To date, we have conducted 8 classes, totalling 20 hours of instruction. Participants have actively engaged in the sessions, which have primarily focused on hands-on training. Prof. Justin John leads the classes from SB College. In total, the program will consist of 45 hours of instruction, and we expect to complete it by April 2025.
