Mangrove trail at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam


The event featured an insightful Mangrove Trail to the Mukkad Mangrove Area, where participants had the opportunity to explore and learn about the ecological significance of mangroves. Shri Madhusoodanan led an engaging session, introducing various aspects of pollution and the identification of different mangrove species. Shri Renjan Mathew Varghese provided valuable insights into conservation initiatives and the factors influencing mangrove protection.

During the field session, Shri Madhusoodanan and Sarlin P.J. guided the participants through the trails, offering on-site explanations and identification of various mangrove species. Their expertise enriched the learning experience, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of the biodiversity and ecological role of mangroves in coastal ecosystems.
