Gandhi Jayanthi .Swatch bharath mission,Malinya muktha navakeralam at Government womens polytechnic college Kottakkal
On the occation of Gandhi Jayanthi,NSS and Bhoomithrasena club joined forces with other clubs to carryout a two kilometer long cleaning of the National highway in Edarikkode Panchayath.Health departments staff,ward members and haritha karma sena members were present and around 20 sacks of inorganic waste were collected and handed over to harthakarmasena. A clean-up drive was also conducted at Tanur beach.A large group of members of other clubs in the area,health workers and Haritha karma sena workers participated in this.About 25 bags full of inorganic waste were collected and handed over to the Haritha karma sena members.Club members participated in this event until noon and were provided with light meals.
