Hydroponics unit at KURIAKOSE ELIAS COLLEGE,MANNANAM
Two hydroponics unit were installed on 5th March 2024 by Bhoomithrasena in association with Department of Botany to promote soilless, space-saving farming practices to the students. The units have the simplest set up of using PVC pipes and fittings, used plastic bottles as planters and cocopeat as the growing substratum. This unit was used for cultivation different aromatic herbs.
