KERALAPPIRAVI CELEBRATION

 

On November 1, 2024, the Bhoomithra sena and Samskara Club of RSM SNDP College celebrated the Kerala Birth Day on a grand scale with various cultural and educational programs that filled the hearts of students and teachers alike.

A beautiful map of Kerala has been designed using grains, aiming to stimulate the creativity of students. The display, marked by each district, attracted the attention and admiration of the students who attended the exhibition.

Students took the Malayalam Language Pledge, realizing the greatness of the language. It was an attempt to understand the importance of language preservation and mark language excellence.

Through book discussion, students shared their thoughts by sharing quotes from great works of Kerala literature. This discussion took forward the ideas full of Kerala culture and linguistic diversity. The students sang many songs evoking the glory of Kerala. Those voices full of pride in the rhythm of music for celebration

Give more excellence. Students showcased their knowledge of 14 districts of the state in a quiz competition called "Kerala Through Districts". During the competition, questions were shared about the history, culture and customs of the districts

It was an enlightening experience for participants and spectators alike. Principal Dr. Sujesh C P inaugurated the programme. He opined that programs that introduce the rich heritage and brilliance of Kerala's language will create a lot of awareness among the students.

Bhoomithra sena and Samskara club coordinator Dr. Mini Abraham welcomed the meeting. The faculty and students of the college worked together to make the event a success.

BSc and BCom first year students actively participated in the program and made the celebration a success. Their enthusiasm and creative participation brightened the celebration.

This occasion to cherish Kerala's heritage and culture and uphold its pride became an authentic experience for the students.
