Field Visit to Pottery Making Unit at CHMKM Govt.Arts & Science College Tanur
19 students and 3 teachers from CHMKM Govt. Arts & Science College, Tanur participated in the field visit. They came to know about the tedious process behind the making of clay pots.(Mixing,shaping and firing) Some of them could experience the making of it as a hands-on experience. Shri Rajan explained how the clay becomes a beautiful pot. Overall the experience was an enriching experience and it was a revelation to the students how every pot carries stories of cultural legacy
