The "Used Plastic Bottle Booth" was purchased and installed as part of the Clean Campus Drive, addressing the need for a dedicated plastic waste collection system within the college. As the first of its kind on campus, this booth serves as a centralized collection point for used plastic bottles, placed at a highly visible and accessible location to encourage student participation.
The initiative aims to:
- Provide a systematic solution for plastic waste disposal within the college.
- Raise awareness about plastic pollution and the importance of responsible waste management.
- Promote a culture of recycling and sustainability among students and staff.
