Protecting wetlands for our common future Expert Talk -Dr.Vattavila Vijayakumar, Principal ( Rtd.) at HHMSPBNSS COLLEGE FOR WOMEN
As part of world wetland day celebrations expert talk on "Protecting wetlands for our common future" was organized in the college, The resource person explained how the wetlands are deteriorated and how to preserve them for the future for a sustainable management of resources and a safe and disaster free life not only for human beings but also to all the living things in the earth. The talk was conducted on 18.03.2025 as per the convenience of resource persons .His talk stressed the need for awareness to students to protect the wetlands for future. The program started at 10.30am at the department of Zoology. The coordinator expressed welcome and the student representative Ms. Vaishnavi delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was ended at 12 Noon. The student feed back session the members expresses that the talk was highly informative and knowledgeable.
