WORSHOP ON PREPARATION OF VEGAN COSMETICS at KURIAKOSE ELIAS COLLEGE,MANNANAM
A one-day workshop on the preparation of vegan cosmetics was conducted by the Bhoomithrasena Club on March 24, 2024. This innovative workshop emphasized the importance of transitioning to vegan cosmetics, which are free from harsh chemicals and instead utilize eco-friendly plant extract
The workshop highlighted the pressing need to replace conventional cosmetics, which often harm the environment and human health, with more sustainable and natural alternatives. Vegan cosmetics, made from plant-based ingredients, offer a cruelty-free and environmentally friendly solution.
During the workshop, participants learned about the benefits of using vegan cosmetics, including their gentler impact on the skin and the environment. They also gained hands-on experience in preparing various vegan cosmetic products, such as soaps, lip balms and creams, using natural ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, vegetable and fruits extracts and essential oils.
