Field Visit to Nilackal Forests at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla
A field visit to the forest of Western Ghats was organized by Bhoomithrasena Club of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, to inculcate in students, an aspiration and enthusiasm in the well being of nature. A group of students and two teachers of Bhoomithrasena club visited the Angamoozhi range of Gavi division , Pathanamthitta district on 18-19 March, 2023. A trekk to the angamoozhi range upto Veluthodu Check Dam was done and a class from forest officials was given to students. A butterfly sighting trail was done on next morning.
