Invited lecture on Man Vs. Nature - The stories of Puthumala, Chooralmal and Mundakkai in light of the Madhav Gadgil and Kasturirangan reports at EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty
On 2nd November 2024, an invited lecture was held at the ecologically rich location of 900 Kandi, Wayanad, focusing on the pressing theme of “Man Vs. Nature”. The session reflected on the tragic landslides and environmental disruptions in Puthumala, Chooralmala, and Mundakkai, contextualized within the findings and recommendations of the Madhav Gadgil and Kasturirangan reports on the Western Ghats.
