Echoes of Nature: Environmental Awareness Session at Aruvikkachal Waterfalls at ST. ANTONYS HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL POONJAR
As part of its commitment to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, the Bhoomithrasena Club organized an insightful awareness session titled "Echoes of Nature" at the picturesque Aruvikkachal Waterfalls on 15th October 2024. The program was led by renowned environmental activist Shri. Abey Emmanuel Poondikulam, who engaged the students in an interactive and thought-provoking session on the importance of ecosystem preservation and responsible environmental behavior.
The natural setting of the Aruvikkachal Waterfalls provided an ideal backdrop to experience the harmony and fragility of nature. Students had the opportunity to explore the surroundings while learning about key environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, and the importance of biodiversity. Shri. Abey Poondikulam emphasized the role of youth in shaping a sustainable future and shared practical ways students can contribute to conservation efforts in their daily lives.
