World Water Monitoring Day at All Saints' College, Thiruvananthapuram
The members of the Bhoomitrasena Club visited a waterbody at Vellayani near the backwaters to assess the health status of the pond on 18th September 2024. They found that the pond was heavily eutrophied. They tried to get some water hyacinth from the pond. There were some meaningful discussions among the members. They devised an idea to make some value-added products from water hyacinth. Consequently, they made some hand-made papers.
