Wild life week quiz competition at EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty


The Bhoomithrasena Club of EMEA College successfully conducted a Wildlife Week Quiz Competition on 08 October 2024 as part of the observance of Wildlife Week. The programme was organized with the objective of creating awareness among students about wildlife conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting endangered species.

A total of 25 students actively participated in the quiz competition. The event began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Wildlife Week and the role of students in conserving wildlife and natural habitats. Participants were encouraged to enhance their knowledge beyond textbooks and develop an interest in environmental and wildlife-related issues.

The quiz competition included multiple rounds covering topics such as wildlife species, national parks and sanctuaries, endangered animals, environmental laws, biodiversity hotspots, and conservation initiatives. The interactive format of the quiz generated enthusiasm and healthy competition among the participants, promoting quick thinking, teamwork, and analytical skills.

Through the competition, students gained valuable knowledge about wildlife protection and the challenges faced by ecosystems due to human activities. The programme helped foster environmental responsibility and motivated students to actively participate in conservation activities within and outside the campus.
