Two metalic waste disposal baskets were set on the campus for the disposal of waste mainly plastic, paper and other solid waste accumulating in the campus. This initiative allowed students and staff to participate effectively in keeping campus clean. The sorted waste will be handed over to Harithakarmasena for proper disposal
To make students aware about the importance of mangrove- its ecological significance, biodiversity it supports, special like of plants present there, effect of mangrove in modifying climatic conditions, importance of mangrove in coastal protection
Action plans will be carried out to clean the vulnerable environment such as Ariamthengu mangrooves, coastal areas and Kayamkulam kayal and canal systems
Organizing poster presentations and conducting programmes like quiz, discussions etc.
Seminars will be conducted related to wetland day, environment day, and other environmentally important days
