World water day observation at Loyola College of Social Sciences


The programme starts at 3 PM with the welcome speech of Dr. Joice K Joseph, faculty coordinator Bhoomithrasena club. He pointed the importance of water and international water day observation which is atarted after the World earth submit of 1992. This year theame- accilarating change- be the change that you need to see in the world clearly indicating everyones responsibility for addressing the water and sanitation problem in the contomporary World. Dr. Dipu Sukumaran, head scientist CWRDM, neyyattinkara was the resource person of the event. He explained in detail the water quality parameters- physical , chemical and biological. the session is followed by an active discussion of the students with the resource person. Ms. vaishnavi compared the session and Ms. Nadha Anandhamohan offered the vote of thanks
